‘Between the Lines’ with High School Baseball Tonight

Randleman at High Point Andrews 5pm
Greensboro Day School at Wesleyan 6pm
Northern Guilford at Eastern Guilford 6pm….Important Mid-State 3-A game and Eastern’s Adam Gunn is just two hits away from setting the school record for most career hits….Coach Jones on the baseball/football staff at EG has that record…..Would be nice to see Adam set that record at home, but NG will want to have something to say about that…..Should make for a great game between two big conference rivals tonight…..
Grimsley at Western Guilford 7pm…..Should see the return of Grimsley’s D.J. Reader in this game….Ought to help give the Whirlies an offensive punch and I believe this was a fairly close game, when the two played the first time at Grimsley….WG hits the tournament circuit tomorrow, with the opening day of the Graham Easter Tournament and pitching will be a key this week….
High Point Central at Northwest Guilford 7pm….The first of two meetings this week with these two clubs and if Hanson Butler goes for Central they will be real tough and it might be time for NWG to bring on Adam Swim…..Swim only pitched one inning last Friday night versus Southwest Guilford….
Ledford at Southern Guilford 7pm…Key Mid-Piedmont 3-A Game for the Storm….
Ragsdale at Southwest Guilford 7pm…..SWG should have Sean Geoghean ready, as he didn’t stay out there that long last Friday night at NWG….Crucial game for SWG, as they are currently tied for the top of the conference standings with NWG at (5-2) and for Ragsdale, this means a chance to get back in/stay in the race, with a win….
Smith at Southeast Guilford 7pm…..SEG has this game tonight and then the Graham Easter Tournament beginning on Thursday and this will be a very busy week for the Falcons…..
Southwestern Randolph at Northeast Guilford 7pm……Key stretch this week with SWR at home tonight and then the Easter Tournament beginning at home on Friday…..Could mean 5-6 games in a-row at home for NEG and tonight could see Jacob Watkins, Tyler Mericka and will be seeing Josiel Colon and Jaylin Davis somewhere in this stretch, as the week unfolds……
Oak Level at Caldwell Academy 7pm
