Southwest Guilford up on Ragsdale 2-1 in the 4th, Game halted due to rain/lightning:Will resume on Wednesday at 5pm at SWG

Game suspended in the bottom of fourth with SW batting and two outs, nobody on.

Ragsdale scored in the first inning. Ben Fischer led off with a double to
right field. Advanced to third on a ground out and Mitch Carstens picked up
the RBI on a groundout to short.

Kyle Morrison and Matt Horkey also singled in the first with two outs but
were stranded when Southwest starter Sean Geoghegan got a strike out for the
third out.

Southwest struck back in the bottom of the third against Ragsdale starter
Matt Horkey. Andrew Bullock got an infield single when he chopped a
grounder in front of the plate and beat it out. Will Mespelt sacrificed him
to second and Austin Zente drove him home with a double. Zente stole third
and scored the go ahead run with a sacrifice fly to left field as he just
beat the throw to the plate.

Geoghegan was matched against Horkey and he had gone through four innings
having only given up the one run and three first inning hits, with three
strike outs. Horkey had given up the two runs on three hits and had two
strikeouts in 3 and 2/3 innings.

The game will be resumed Wednesday night at 5:00 PM at Southwest Guilford
