Elon Men’s Tennis Match Versus UNCG to Resume on Thursday

ELON, N.C. — The Elon men’s tennis match versus UNCG began under beautiful sunny skies on Wednesday afternoon, but was ultimately suspended for the day when thunderstorms came through the area. The teams completed the doubles matches before the rains came, with UNCG winning matches on courts two and three to take the doubles point.

The match is scheduled to resume tomorrow, April 5, at 2 p.m., at The Jimmy Powell Tennis Center. With a win, the Phoenix will clinch a first-round bye in the Southern Conference Tournament later this month. The top singles match will feature Elon sophomore Cameron Silverman and UNCG’s Orcun Seyrek, both of whom are an undefeated 8-0 in league singles matches this season.
