Morgan Coleman was sensational in the circle, and Northwest Guilford got all the runs it needed in a huge fifth inning to run away with a 7-0 victory in nonconference action in Wallburg on Thursday.
Ledford coach Charlie Brown had to tip his hat to Coleman, who gave up four hits, walked one and struck out seven. “She just blew it by us,” Brown conceded. “She had good offspeed, I thought, that kept us off-guard.
