SEG(15-1)/NG(8-8)……Excellent start tonight by lefty Matt Kaplan to keep his Nighthawk team in the game…..NG up early 1-0, then later led 3-1, but SEG pushed across two runs in the bottom of the 7th to tie the game at 3 and to send it into extra innings…..SEG used Newton, Bain and the winner Greene and NG went deep with Kaplan, then Austin Coltrane, then Mas and finally Ryan Dirks…..
SE vs Northern…..I think Blake Butler scored the game winning run.
Dallas Newton scored the run to tie the game.
I just checked the scorebook and Butler did score the game-winner…Newton scored two runs on the night…..SEG was fortunate to get back in that game….Tough to pull it out in 9 innings…..

Absolutely a great Northern team tonight. They fought hard. Kudos to them for a great game. Maybe one of the top high school games I have seen in a long time
Northern has been playing great since the coaching change…..Northern coach doing a great job and knows the game!
NG is playing great baseball – no easy outs and the defense has gotten much better. Hopefully early season losses won’t keep them out of the playoffs as they could make a deep run.
