Southwest broke open a scoreless game in the top of the third with a two out rally.
Austin Zente got on base on an error and moved to second on a Kyle Miller walk. Matt
Orth drove Zente in with a single and Andrew Madden drove in two more with a double
to dead center to give Southwest the 3-0 lead. They got 3 more in the fourth as Orth
got a bases loaded triple. Orth also was on the mound and pitched five innings of
shutout ball.
Kyle Miller pitched the last two innings giving up a run on 3 hits as SW wrapped up
the 7 – 1 win
