Earlier this season, Jessica ‘JP’ Pone signed with Campbell and today her teammate Zena Lovette made it official and she too will play for the Campbell Camels, beginning in the Fall of 2012….
Lovette has won all kinds of awards, All-State, Team MVP, All-Conference, All-Area, All-Area Player of the Year and many more, but the biggest honor of all may have come today at 12:00pm/NOON, when she signed on the dotted line, with Campbell…..(Signing time was 12:10pm official.)
I saw a billboard as I was driving down the highway and leaving the Southwest Guilford campus and it said, “We don’t take applications, we take Commitments”, and today Zena Lovette committed to attend Campbell University and to play basketball for the Lady Camels…..Great job running that point guard sport while in high school with the Cowgirls and the best of luck to Zena, as she takes her game to Campbell…..
