EGHS JV and Varsity cheerleaders competed at Cheerltd Nationals at CANAM March 16-18
in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Junior Varsity won first place in the Jr Varsity Non-tumble division and received
National Champions jackets, medals and banner to display at their school. JV also won
first place in the JR Hip-Hop Dance division and received another banner to
display. JV entered one group (RuthAnn Hardy, Lauren Michael, Maya Davis, Jessica
Chang, Brittany Farr) in the JR Level Stunt Competition and received second place.
Varsity also won first place in the Small Varsity Non-tumble division and received
The Varsity Cheerleaders entered two groups in the Senior Level Stunt Competition
and received second and forth places. Second Place team members were Alexis James,
Sydney High, Jessica Ginther, Kaysha Alderman, and Royale Lundy. Fourth Place team
members were Brianna Bandy, Alyssa Pike, Hannah Wright, Danielle Cobb, and Meaghan
Harvell.
