  1. EA vs RC was a good game. I am surprised at the errors that RC made. Not your typical RC baseball team. their pitcher was dominant as well as Eastern’s pitcher. The fincannonn kid for RC hit a bomb last night but was only for a solo HR. That kid can hit!! EA also had some good hits last night but we continue to struggle a bit at the plate. But a win is a win.

  2. If Glenn did beat SEG, just more evidence that the Metro is far worse competitively than the Piedmont Triad…….

  3. Kinda like in basketball. If Vanderbilt beats Carolina, the SEC is better than the ACC?

  4. Yep…..especially if the 6th place team from one league beats the team at the top of the other league……and yes even in a midweek game with the second tier arms going for both teams……

  5. you mean lke how Grimsley last place sapnked yor first place vikings? get reronal you mo

  6. Grimsley beating Northwest 14-5 was much more than a mere spanking. It was a virtual mental beat-down. The Vikings were dropping balls in the outfield and not running out routine grounders. Player fundamentals went out the window.

Meanwhile, the Glenn 9-7 win over SE was a much more competitive game from first to last pitch.

So therefore, according to the “ron burgundy law”, the Metro Conference is far, far, far more competitive than the Piedmont Triad. It makes sense to me too.

  7. Why bash SE Guilford for the conference they are in. It is what it is. They are a very good team with lots of talent. I’m sure given the opportunity they would love to play in a more competitive conference just to prove to everyone that they are a legit team.

  8. Let’s see, SE has a pretty good non-conference schedule with games against –

Northern Guilford, Northeast, Wheatmore, Randleman, Glenn, Ragsdale (tonight) and Southwest (next week)

What more can they do to earn a little respect?
