The NC Gaters 13U Blue team won the D1 State Championship in Raleigh on Sunday April 29. They defeated the host team Garner Rd in the first round. Then went on to play Team Felton and Cabarrus Stars. In the championship game they defeated The Cabarrus Stars 66-58. They were led in the championship game by Justin Busby with 16 pts. John Newman Jr. and Kameron Langley both chipped in with 12 pts each. Jeremiah Praylor was the catalyst on the defensive end.

Congratulations to the 13U Gaters. A true team and a true team effort. I was at all three games and at some point and time every player on the team made a play on the offensive or defensive end of the court that had an impact on the outcome of the games. Great job! Good luck the rest of the season.
