  1. Congrats to Patrick Chandler on signing a letter of intent to Rockinham CC. He started for 3 years.

Kind of an interesting coaching move that Ryan Freeman had him starting in front of Jalen Ross (Eastern Michigan signee). You start a community college player over a mid level division I player.

  2. Interesting coaching move? Perhaps. But anyone who saw Chandler play in person knew he was a much better point guard.

  3. Just an observation:
    You have 2 5’10” PGs.
1 going to a local community college and the other going to a MAAC School (same conference as OHIO who lost to UNC in the sweet 16s)
I would presume the d1 kid is better.

  4. alot of kids go to junior colleges not because they dont have offers, but maybe they werent satisfied with the ones they had. may have been the case with chandler, good luck, keep playin. dont listen to people that hate.

  5. MAYBE IF THE RCC KID’S DAD WAS A SCOUT FOR A PRO TEAM HE COULD HAVE MADE A DEAL FOR HIS SON, TOO.

WAS ANYONE ELSE LOOKING AT ROSS?

  6. Ross had multiple division 1 offers. Howard University…etc. I think the total was 5-6. Ross is a very good PG playing for a great program.

Chandler is a very good player. He will be a good fit for RCC. The kid really competes. Best of luck Patrick we are proud of you.

  7. Nighthawk fan sounds like the typical hs athletes parent where their kid didn’t get his way…grow up
