For the State Championship game the Knights from Shining Light Academy squared off against Fayetteville St. Christian. This was the 3rd time for these 2 teams to meet with the Knights winning big the first 2 games. Sophomore Caleb Robinson got the start on the bump and threw a complete game. Caleb had 13 K’s and only allowed the 1 earned run on 2 hits. Shining Light would not hit the ball as they have all year but did just enough to win. Leading in hitting for the Knights was Trevor Clemons going 2-3 BB, 2B, Caleb Webster 1-4 2 RBI’s, and Caleb Robinson 1-2 BB, 2B, RBI. Shining Light finishes the year at 15-5.
