Recruiting Round Table Part 2
In today’s issue of Recruiting Round Table Part 2, we want to introduce players that are currently “under the radar”.
Player: 6’2 Anthony Bilas
City: Charlotte, North Carolina
High School: Charlotte Latin
Twitter Name: @AnthonyBilas
High School Coach: Chris Berger
AAU Team: Upward Stars
Evaluation: Anthony Bilas comes from excellent stock and is the son of former Duke star Jay Bilas. Anthony Bilas is a hard working young man with outstanding fundamentals and basketball IQ. He has strong perimeter skills and possesses an excellent shooting touch and can consistently knock down the 3 point shot. One of his strongest attributes is his work ethic and desire to get better. He has solid ball handling skills for his size/position and is an good team player. While his strength is shooting the ball, he is unselfish in making the extra pass. While only 6’2 currently, he is long and lanky and looks like he has a lot more growing to do.
Player: 5’8 Chandler Peraldo
City: Greensboro, North Carolina
High School: Bishop McGuiness Catholic
High School Coach: Josh Thompson
AAU Team: Team Phoenix
Evaluation: Peraldo is a quick/heady “pass first” PG. He is an ultimate gym rat and has excellent handles along with good perimeter skills. He is effective shooting 3 pointers and has the speed/quickness to be an effective PG at the HS level and beyond. His biggest attribute is his desire to get better since he is a strong will competitor. As he gets older, he will gain strength and power which will help determine his appropriate level.
