Dynamo to Host National Semi-Final Match Win Eastern Conference in Dramatic Style

The Carolina Dynamo defeated the Ottawa Fury this past Sunday to capture the Eastern Conference Championship and a berth in the National Semi-Finals. The Dynamo will host Orlando City U-23’s (Southern Conference Champions) this Saturday, July 28 at 7:00 PM. Having played 120 minutes and going to PK’s in the conference semi-finals, the Dynamo continued the trend of exciting finishes by scoring a goal in the 90+ minute. Sebastian Ibeagha’s (Duke) header off of a cross from Donnie Smith (Charlotte) found the back of the next giving the Dynamo the 1-0 win and the Conference Championship. The Dynamo reaches the National semi-finals for their 2nd time. Saturday’s game is a rematch of the Dynamo’s last trip to the National semi-finals in 2004, when the Central Florida Kraze (now Orland City U-23’s) defeated the Dynamo in penalties on their way to the National Championship.

All children 18 and under will again be admitted for free. Tickets for adults are just $7.00 and can be purchased the day of the game at the gate. $1 slices of pizza, courtesy of Spring Garden Pizzeria, and $1 beers, courtesy of RH Barringer will be featured on the concession menu.
