Greensboro scored six runs in the first three innings Saturday, then survived a Hoosier North rally to hold on for a 6-4 victory at Loeb Stadium.
A three-run error on a long fly ball by Nick Page helped Hoosier North to a four-run fifth inning. It is the only inning Hoosier North has scored in through 14 innings at the Colt World Series.
Zach McLean pitched 2 1/3 innings of hitlerss relief, striking out five to earn the save and make a winner of Tim Ambrose.
