Greensboro Roller Derby Hosts “Running of the Bulls”-style Fun-Run and Block Party

On Saturday, October 6th, Greensboro Roller Derby brings the excitement of Spain’s “Running of the Bulls” to downtown Greensboro. Like the annual event in Pamplona, Spain, participants will try to outrun a rampaging horde that relentlessly gives chase through the streets. Only the bravest attempt the run, and not all will escape the wrath of the horde. However, instead of angry bulls, this horde will consist of a mob of Greensboro’s own roller girls, skating through the heart of downtown Greensboro to apprehend you and your fellow runners in a 1 mile fun-run! Think you can outrun a roller girl? This is your chance to find out!

After the run, the event will continue with a free block party featuring local artists, vendors and live music as well as local food trucks and beverages. We will also be holding a raffle featuring many fabulous prizes donated by local businesses.
