College Women’s Soccer Final – Guilford 5, Hollins 1

ROANOKE, Va. – Hannah Schiltz scored twice and rookie Kelli Uresti added a goal and three assists in Guilford College’s 5-1 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer win at Hollins Wednesday.

Schiltz scored twice in the first 16 minutes for a quick 2-0 lead as the Quakers (2-7, 1-2 ODAC) tallied five times for the second time in three days. Uresti assisted both goals before denting the twine herself in the 35th minute off a Kelly Mulka helper.

Sarah Levitt’s unassisted goal in the 40th minute opened a 4-1 Guilford lead at halftime. Mulka converted a Uresti feed in the 74th minute to round out Guilford’s scoring.

Alicia Johns scored midway through the first half for Hollins (2-5, 0-3 ODAC) , which was outshot, 37-5. Goaltender Brandi Chesne stopped 15 shots for the hosts.

The Quakers head to Eastern Mennonite University Saturday (9/22) for an ODAC contest.
