The Pride women’s soccer team was knocked out of the USA South tournament on Saturday with a 4-0 defeat to Christopher Newport.
The Captains struck twice in the first half and added two in the second for the final tally. Greensboro was looking for a season sweep of Christopher Newport after taking home a 3-1 win on September 14.
The Pride recorded four total shots with two on goal while the Captains finished with 21 shots and 11 on goal.
Greensboro wraps up the 2012 campaign with an overall record of 7-11 and a 6-5 in the conference.
