N.C. State gets bounced by Oklahoma State in Sunday ACC Men’s Hoops/VA Tech at UNCG tonight

ACC Men’s Hoops for tonight:Virginia Tech vs. UNCG at the Greensboro Coliseum 7pm…Wake Forest vs. Mercer at St.Thomas 2:30pm…North Carolina vs. Mississippi State at Maui 6pm…Lamar at Virginia 7pm…

from Sunday afternoon and Sunday night in the ACC Men’s Hoops action:
Oklahoma State 76
N.C. State 56

First loss of the season for N.C. State and I remember an old saying from many years ago and it still rings true today, “There’s not much that makes me mad, but that makes me mad”…..Real mad….Why in the tarnation are the N.C. State freshmen always showing up as the leading scorers in these early games? Where are the veterans and where is the leadership? You had a team coming off of super solid season one year ago and ranked #6 in the nation and you go out and get bounced by 20 points? The players coming back off of last year’s squad show be setting the standard for this unit and the input from the incoming freshmen should be a huge boost, but not what the determines the outcome of these games….Where are your veteran players and who is going to step up and lead…This should be C.J. Leslie, Lorenzo Brown, Richard Howell and Scott Wood’s team and the freshmen should be there with support and they should not be carrying the load this early into the season…”There’s not much that makes me mad, but this makes me mad and something needs to change”…..
Like I said, it was Rodney Purvis with 16 and T.J. Warren with 15 to lead the Pack and if you check the roster, they are both first-year players(Freshmen)….

Duke 88
Florida Gulf Coast 67

Mason Plumlee(Senior) with a career-high 28 points for the Devils….Rasheed Sulaimon had 19 and Ryan Kelly(Senior) added 14 points for Duke….

College of Charleston 71
Boston College 67
