DeAngelo Bell(Grimsley HS/N.C. A&T) has stepped down as the head football coach of the Winston-Salem Parkland Mustangs

*****This one had a title from the start, but the new Thanksgiving Day computer ate it for dessert.*****

DeAngelo Bell, the man who once said he has been around since back when Moby Dick was still a minnow, has stepped down/resigned as the head football coach for the Winston-Salem Parkland Mustangs…

Bell is a graduate of Grimsley High School and N.C. A&T State Unversity and took Parkland all the way to the State 3-A Title back in 2001, when the Mustangs finished with a record of (15-1)….They beat Crest in the Championship Game, in Chapel Hill…Crest had just knocked off the Ragsdale Tigers, the week before….

Bell’s overall record was right at (92-78) over his career and now he is leaving Parkland and we do have two current openings in Guilford County, one at Smith and the other at Northeast Guilford HS….
