Ragsdale was at home on Monday night for a non-Conference matchup with Western Guilford. Western went up 7 – 3 half way through the first quarter, but then saw Ragsdale run off 13 straight points to take an 16 – 7 lead at the end of the quarter and the Tigers never trailed from there

Ragsdale kept extending the lead in the second quarter as senior guard Joe Bryant scored 10 points in the quarter to go up by 15 at the break. Bryant opened the second half with a three pointer before Western scored 6 straight points to cut the lead to 12. The Hornet momentum was short lived as Ragsdale responded with a 12 – 0 run to go up by 24 and from there it was just a question of what the final score would be.

Joe Bryant was the leading scorer for the Tigers with 15 points. James Stepp and Jarrett Holland chipped in with 14 each. Holland provided a real spark off the bench with his aggressive play around the basket and he also pulled down 8 rebounds. Daniel Kanakanui was also in double figures with 12 points and he had 9 boards.

Austin Lewis was the leading scorer for Western Guilford with 14 points.
