HPU Offers Tickets & Rides For Sunday’s Men’s Basketball Game

The High Point University Athletic Department is offering free transportation and tickets to members of the High Point community for the men’s basketball game against Western Michigan on Sunday, Dec. 16, at 3 p.m.

Members of the community will receive free tickets to the game and a bus ride at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday. HPU buses will pick up at two locations:
• Carson Stout Boys & Girls Club at 1900 Fern Avenue (http://mapq.st/TNZNuA)
• Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club at 121 SW Cloverleaf Place (http://mapq.st/TNZO1u)

Members of the community may also pick up vouchers for four free tickets at the Jingle Bell Run/Walk for Arthritis at City Lake Park (http://mapq.st/W3ICXQ) on Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon.

High Point University has also given free ticket vouchers to the Cedrow Residents Council, the High Point Housing Authority and several High Point-area schools. HPU faculty and staff may also attend Sunday’s game for free.

The HPU men’s basketball team is playing Western Michigan University on Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Millis Center. The Panthers are looking to avenge a 54-53 loss to the Broncos on Nov. 29 in Kalamazoo, Mich.
