CHAPEL HILL—The North Carolina High School Athletic Association is seeking to recognize past state championship teams during the celebration of its 100th anniversary during 2013.
Members of former state championship teams and a guest will be admitted free of charge to their respective state championships when the team has been properly registered on a Championship Reunion RSVP form. The form is found on the 100th portal at the NCHSAA web site, www.nchsaa.org.
Information is currently being sought for teams in men’s and women’s swimming and diving, men’s and women’s indoor track, both individual and dual team wrestling, and men’s and women’s basketball.
The deadline for registering a team for winter sports is January 31. The theme for the Centennial Celebration is “Honoring the Past, Embracing the Present and Shaping the Future.”
