Elon Men’s Soccer Announces Youth Soccer Camps

ELON, N.C. – Elon head men’s soccer coach Darren Powell announced the hosting of several youth camps in the upcoming months, beginning with the coed Spring Break camp on April 2-5 at 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The youth camp is intended for ages 5-15.

Following the Spring Break camp, the Phoenix will host a Half/Full Day camp from June 17-21 and a Boys’ Residential Elite camp on June 23-26. Both events are offered to boys with the half day intended for ages 5-8 and the full day slated for ages 7-15.

“We are happy once again to be able to offer our summer camp programs for all ages, from the beginners to the elite players,” Powell said. “We have received excellent feedback from our participants each year, and we look forward to several exciting weeks this year. We kick off our camp schedule with a great spring break option for both boys and girls. The Elon coaching staff and players, as well as several top professionals from the area, teach the campers at all of our camps.”

The camps will be oversaw and run by Powell, the 2012 Southern Conference Coach of the Year along with his coaching staff, featuring assistant Chris Little, the 2012 NSCAA South Region Assistant Coach of the Year.

The camps are aimed to help improve prospective players and achieve the next step to reach the next level. For more information about any of the camps or to register on-line, visit www.elonsoccercamps.com.
