Top ranked WCDS baseball won in the second round of NCISAA 2-A State Playoffs 11-1 over Fayetteville Christian Friday night. Winning pitcher was Adam Kirkman (5-3) with 7 strikeouts and leading hitters were Donnie Sellers (2-3, HR, 2 RBI’s), Luke Puckett (2-3, Double, HR, 2 RBI’s) and Myles Sowell (2-3, Double, Triple, 2 RBI’s). WCDS (19-6) advances to the semi-final game at home against Davidson Day (18-4) on Tuesday at 6:00PM.
