Powerade State Games High School Baseball Rosters Announced

Competition will be held from June 19th-23rd in Charlotte

DURHAM, North Carolina– The Powerade State Games High School Baseball Showcase will take place June 19-23 at UNC Charlotte and Hopewell High School. The High School Baseball Showcase pits the best 20 underclassmen players from eight North Carolina regions against each other to battle it out in front of over 80 college and professional scouts for the gold, silver and bronze medals.

The Powerade State Games of North Carolina kicked off last weekend with Youth Baseball regional competition and the Figure Skating Championships. Results can be viewed throughout the competition on our Powerade State Games Results page. Please bookmark this page for further reference.

The 27th annual Powerade State Games will conclude on June 30th and covers the entirety of Mecklenburg County and beyond, with competitions taking place in Mooresville, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Charlotte, Indian Trail, Pineville and Wingate. Registration is still open for some sports. Athletes can visit www.ncsports.org to register for each event.

The 2013 Opening Ceremonies will be held June 21 at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in uptown Charlotte. The Opening Ceremonies features a commemorative gift for participating athletes, games, music, a parade of athletes and a lighting of the cauldron to announce the official start to the 2013 Powerade State Games of North Carolina.
