Norton was the top ODAC finisher at the season-opening ODAC Preview Meet this past Friday in Farmville, Va. He finished second overall with a time of 25:59:00, helping to lead the Quakers to a third-place team showing. His time was the 12th-fastest over an eight-kilometer course in school history and fourth-fastest in his career.

Tuesday’s announcement is the latest honor in Norton’s decorated career. The senior is a two-time United States Track and Field/Cross Country Coaches’ Association All-South/Southeast Region honoree and has run in both of the past two NCAA Division III Championships. He holds four of Guilford’s 12 fastest eight-kilometer times in school history.
