College Volleyball Final – Guilford 3, Salem 0

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Senior libero Meredith Foscue (Asheboro, N.C./Asheboro) averaged a career-high 8.7 digs per set in Guilford College’s 3-0 win at Salem College Wednesday night. Foscue scooped up 26 digs in the Quakers’ 25-18, 25-15, 25-15 nonconference win. Her 8.7 digs per set stand seventh in school history.

Malikah French paced the Quakers’ offense with 10 kills on .529 hitting and also added two blocks. Senior setter Taylor Whitley set up 25 assists and 11 digs. Kelsey Ruehling chipped in with eight kills and nine digs for Guilford (5-7).

Michelle Morgan’s five kills and 1.5 blocks led the Spirits (1-9). Chelsea Jones had 14 assists and Taylor Rhodes added 11 digs.

The Quakers host Southern Virginia University Friday night (9/20) at 7:00 pm.
