The Women’s Basketball Team from Guilford Technical Community College used a balanced attack to defeat Virginia Western Community College by a score of 99 – 46.
The Titans, ranked #13 in the NJCAA D2 Poll had 4 players in double figures led by Dudley Graduate Desiree Drayton with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 steals. Sumer Kale and Brittnee Roberts both had 13 points for the Titans. Smith Graduate Nyla Allen had 11 points and 7 rebounds for GTCC. Point Guard Marcianna Munn had 7 assists to lead the Titans.
GTCC travels to NYC this week to play in the 8 team ASA Avenger Christmas Classic, all 3 games will be played in Brooklyn.
