West Charlotte 70, Mount Tabor 43: The Lions’ pressure defense choked the life out of their 4A sectional final opponent. West Charlotte held the home team to five points in the third quarter. West Charlotte outscored Mount Tabor 44-19 in the second half. Simeon Carter led the Lions with eight points, 10 rebounds and seven blocks. Kobe Williams had 11 points and six rebounds. Austin Harris had nine points and 14 rebounds, and Isiah Blackmon added 13 points.
