Shannon Buchanan (SW Guilford) had 14 points and 10 rebounds and Carnique Marks (Western Guilford) had 13 points and 8 rebounds to pace GTCC to the 28 point victory. GTCC closes out the regular season with an overall record of 24 wins and 5 losses. They finished 2nd in the Virginia-Carolina’s Conference, 1 game behind Louisburg College who they split with during the regular season. The seedings for the Region X Tournament are below. Tournament runs March 7 – 9 at Wake Tech in Raleigh. The winner receives an automatic bid to the Sweet 16 in Overland Park, Kansas.
