WSSU RAMS MOVE UP ONE SPOT IN REGIONAL RANKINGS TO #7
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Winston-Salem State University baseball team moved up one spot to #7 in this week’s Atlantic Region Poll, as the Rams had a 4-2 week to move to 20-11 overall.

The Rams won a doubles header sweep over #8 Kutztown University, won one of trhee games against Mars Hill and defeated St. Augustine’s University on a walk-off hit.

WSSU will travel to face the Bears of Lenoir-Rhyne on Tuesday in Hickory, N.C., before coming back home to face Wingate on Wednesday night at BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem. First pitch is at 6:00 p.m.

Winston-Salem State will be back in CIAA action this weekend, when they host Elizabeth City State for a double header on both Friday and Saturday, at BB&T Ballpark in Winston-Salem. Game times on Friday are 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., and 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
