Baseball (17-10, 6-3)
Elon vs. North Carolina A&T, Tuesday, April 1, at 6:30 p.m., Latham Park
Elon vs. Campbell, Wednesday, April 2, at 6:30 p.m., Latham Park
Elon at Samford, Friday-Sunday, April 4-6, at 7/3/2 p.m., Birmingham, Ala.

• The Phoenix posted its first three-game Southern Conference series sweep this weekend by taking three games from The Citadel. Elon belted four homers in the three games, including two from Casey Jones who is currently in the midst of a career-best 13-game hitting streak.
• In game one of a doubleheader against The Citadel, Elon pounded out a season-high 19 hits and matched season-bests with 14 runs scored and six stolen bases. In game two, the Phoenix had its first multi-homer game of the year.
• Thanks to a couple of cancelled games, the maroon and gold will wrap up a 14-game homestand with two games this week. On Tuesday, Elon will look to avenge an early season loss to North Carolina A&T before hosting Campbell the following day. Elon is 46-6-1 all-time against the Aggies and owns a 26-20 mark against the Fighting Camels.
• Elon will finish the week by playing its first road Southern Conference series. The Phoenix will head to Birmingham, Ala., to battle the Samford Bulldogs in a three-game set. Elon is 14-3 all-time against Samford, including 6-0 in games in Birmingham.

Men’s Tennis (12-3, 5-0)
Elon vs. UNCG, Wednesday, April 2, at 3 p.m., Jimmy Powell Tennis Center
Elon at Furman, Saturday, April 5, at 1 p.m., Greenville, S.C.
Elon at Wofford, Sunday, April 6, at 1 p.m., Spartanburg, S.C.

• With an eight-match winning streak on the line, the Phoenix look to continue their streak with three Southern Conference matches this week against UNCG, Furman and Wofford.
• The Phoenix extended its streak to eight in a row last week on the road against Georgia Southern. In the match, Elon earned a 7-0 sweep of the Eagles to stay perfect in SoCon play.
• Through it’s first five conference matches of the year, Elon has swept four of its five opponents. The only team to earn a point was Davidson earlier this month on March 9 in a 6-1 victory over the Wildcats.

Softball (17-16-1, 2-7)
Elon vs. North Carolina A&T, Tuesday, April 1, at 5:30 p.m., Hunt Softball Park
Elon at Chattanooga, Saturday – Sunday, April 5 – 6, at 1/3/1 p.m., Chattanooga, Tenn.

• Elon hosts North Carolina A&T on Tuesday, April 1, in a single-game contest at 5:30 p.m. The Phoenix swept the Aggies in last year’s meeting in Elon.
• The Phoenix defeated Furman, 5-4, on Sunday, March 30, in the series finale. The win was the 299th career win for Elon head coach Kathy Bocock.
• Freshman Emily Roper had two home runs in that contest against the Paladins becoming the fourth member of the team that has had multi-homer games this season. Senior Carleigh Nester also moved into sole possession of second place all-time in school history with 47 career doubles, one shy of Dani Concepcion’s (2002-05) career record.

Women’s Golf
Elon at John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, Monday – Tuesday, March 31 – April 1, Stockbridge, Ga.
Elon at UNCW Seahawk Classic, Friday-Sunday, April 4-6, Wallace, N.C.

• The Elon women’s golf team will begin the week by wrapping up play at the John Kirk Panther Intercollegiate, which began on Sunday. The Phoenix ended day one sixth out of 16 teams with a score of 308.
• Kelsey Badmaev paced the maroon and gold on day one as she shot a 75 to tie for ninth out of 90 players.
• The week will end with the squad’s final tournament before the SoCon Championship – the UNCW Seahawk Classic.
• A year ago, Elon tied for ninth out of 14 squads at the UNCW Seahawk Classic.

Women’s Tennis (9-6, 3-1)
Elon at Appalachian State, Tuesday, April 1, at 3 p.m., Boone, N.C.
Elon at Samford, Saturday, April 5, at 10 a.m., Birmingham, Ala.
Elon at Chattanooga, Sunday, April 6, at 12 p.m., Chattanooga, Tenn.

• Starting a four-match road trip this week, Elon travels for three matches against Appalachian State, Samford and Chattanooga.
• With more than one week off between matches, Elon enters Tuesday’s match against Appalachian State well rested after a 7-0 sweep of Wofford last Saturday, March 22, at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center.
• Through the last two weeks, Elon players have taken home the SoCon Player of the Week award. Two weeks ago on March 18, Barbora Lazarova earned the honor. Last week on March 25, Jordan Johnston picked up the award after winning two three-set matches against Furman and Wofford on court No. 1.

Women’s Track and Field
Elon at Stanford Invitational, Friday, April 4, Stanford, Calif.
Elon at Liberty Collegiate Invitational, April 4 – 5, Lynchburg, Va.

• Elon will have select members of the distance team race at the Stanford Invitational while the rest of the team will compete at the Liberty Collegiate Invitational this weekend.
• Sophomores Sydney Griffin (100-meter hurdles) and Jennifer Esposito (400-meter hurdles) set new school records in their respective events last weekend at the Raleigh Relays. Griffin broke her own school record in the 100-meters after clocking in a time of 13.72. Esposito broke Alice Turner’s eight-year program record in the 400-meter hurdles with a personal-best of 1:00.57.
• Fellow sophomore Jennifer Pash had a new personal-record in the 400-meters with a time of 56.71, the third-best performance in school history at the Raleigh Relays. Haley Laird captured the college division high jump title at NC State after clearing the bar at 5’5” (1.65m).
