DAY THREE
ROCKY MOUNT, NC — The Greensboro College Pride men’s golf team wrapped up the 2014 USA South Championship Tournament on Sunday afternoon. The Pride carded the second lowest round of the day (304), but could not make up ground on the leaders finishing in third place 12 strokes off of the lead.
Christopher Cox and Nick Peoples both carded a one over par 73 on the round, while John Grimes carded a six over par 78. With the back to back one over par rounds, Peoples finished in seventh place individually in the event.
Gregory Pappas and Brian Critzer shot eight over par 80 on the final day of action for the Pride.
With the third place finish, the Pride will have to wait to see if they receive one of the open at large bids to the NCAA Championships that will take place at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro, North Carolina.

DAY TWO
ROCKY MOUNT, NC — The Greensboro College Pride men’s golf team entered Saturday’s second round of play just one stroke off the lead at th2014 USA South Conference Golf Championships. In the second round, the Pride carded a 311 (+23) on the par 72 Benvenue Country Club Course.
Nick Peoples carded the low score on the day for the Pride with at 72 (+1), while Gregory Pappas turned in at 78 (+6). Greensboro College’s John Grimes entered the second round of the play just one stroke off the individual lead, but his seven over par 79 dropped him into a tie for 11th place just five strokes behind Cory Howard of LaGrange College.
Greensboro College trails overall tournament lead LaGrange College (609) by 15 strokes, and second place Methodist University (614) by ten strokes.

DAY ONE
ROCKY MOUNT, NC — The Greensboro College Pride men’s golf team completed round one of the USA South Conference Championship on Friday afternoon. The Pride completed the first round at +28 (313) on the par 72 course. Greensboro College is one stroke off of the tournament leader LaGrange College.
Greensboro College had a strong day at the number one tee spot, as John Grimes carded a team low +1 (73) which places him in a tie for second place. Brian Critzer (t-10; 78) and Gregory Pappas (t-12; 79) are also in the top 20 individually.
