Baseball (25-15, 11-7)
Elon at UNC Wilmington, Tuesday, April 22, at 6 p.m., Wilmington, N.C.
Elon at UNCG, Friday-Sunday, April 25-27 at 6 / 2 / 1 p.m., Greensboro, N.C.

• Junior Casey Jones has continued his hot streak. Jones has recorded at least one hit in 26 consecutive games. In that span, he has hit .473 with 24 runs scored and 22 RBI. He has had at least two hits in 16 of the 26 games.
• The Phoenix will play four games on the road against in-state foes this week. The maroon and gold will go for the season series sweep of UNC Wilmington on Tuesday night before making the short trip to UNCG for three games this weekend.
• Elon is 23-29 all-time against UNCW, but has won three straight against the Seahawks, including a 3-2 decision at Latham Park earlier this year. In the series with UNCG, Elon owns a 32-12 all-time record. The Phoenix has won six consecutive games against the Spartans, including a three-game sweep in Greensboro last season.

Football
Elon Spring Game, Saturday, April 26, at 6 p.m., Rhodes Stadium

• Elon will hold its annual spring football game on Saturday evening in Rhodes Stadium, its first under new head coach Rich Skrosky.
• Fans will be able to get an early look at the 2014 Phoenix squad with this scrimmage.
• The 2014 football schedule poster will be available for free at the Spring Game.

Men’s Golf
Elon at Southern Conference Championship, Monday-Tuesday, April 21-22, Pinehurst, N.C.

• Elon opened play in its final event of the season on Sunday, the 2014 SoCon Championship played at the National Golf Club in Pinehurst, N.C.
• The Phoenix ended the first round in 10th place with a score of 316.
• Leading the way for Elon on day one was junior Will DiIanni who finished the round tied for seventh with a one-over par 73.

Softball (21-23-1, 4-11)
Elon vs. Samford, Saturday-Sunday, April 26-27, at 1/3/1 p.m., Hunt Softball Park

• The Phoenix will host its final Southern Conference home series this weekend with a matchup versus Samford starting with a doubleheader on Saturday at 1 p.m.
• Senior Carleigh Nester moved into sole possession of third place all-time in school history in career hits as she connected on her 213th on Friday, April 18, at East Carolina. The hit was also the 50th career double for the Kernersville, N.C., native.
• On Sunday, April 27, the program will recognize its six-person senior class in Nester, Lauren Oldham, Johanna Spencer, Ali Ford, Karen Berna and Amanda Allen.

Women’s Lacrosse (7-7, 3-0)
Elon at Stetson, Friday, April 25, at 4 p.m., DeLand, Fla.
Elon at Jacksonville, Sunday, April 27, at 1 p.m., Jacksonville, Fla.

• Elon clinched a spot in the upcoming Atlantic Sun Tournament with a 19-7 win at Howard over the weekend. The Phoenix remains unbeaten in conference play with two conference regular season games remaining. The conference tournament will take place in Jacksonville, Fla., the first weekend of May.
• Both Anna Vitton and Olivia Fernandez led the maroon and gold on offense at Howard with four goals each. On defense, Megan Griffin finished with a game-high three caused turnovers and a team-high four ground balls, while also scoring the first two goals of her career.
• Elon will close out the regular season this weekend when it travels to Florida for a pair of A-Sun games. After playing at Stetson on Friday, the Phoenix will take on reigning league champion Jacksonville on Sunday in a potential showdown of unbeaten teams in conference play.

Women’s Track & Field
Elon at 2014 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships, Saturday-Sunday, April 26-27, Spartanburg, S.C.

• The Phoenix will compete in its final SoCon Outdoor meet this weekend at the 2014 league championships beginning on Saturday, April 26, at Spartanburg High School.
• Elon tied its highest finish ever at last year’s SoCon outdoor championship meet with a fourth place standing to go with three conference winners and 10 All-SoCon performers overall.
• The Phoenix currently has five athletes who have the best times or marks on the SoCon outdoor performance list this season in Megan Kirschling (high jump), Sydney Griffin (100-meter hurdles), Jennifer Esposito (400-meter hurdles), Tereza Novotna (3,000-meter steeplechase) and Allyson Oram (10,000-meters).
