Sloane McPeak’s effort not enough in HPCA’s 7-5 loss

HPCA lost despite Sloane McPeak’s spectacular day from both the mound and the plate.

Sloane went a perfect 4-4 at the dish for HPCA. She tripled in the third inning and singled in the first, fifth, and seventh innings.

Sloane brought the heat against Metrolina Christian Academy during her outing. McPeak gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one during her one inning of work.

The top of the second saw HPCA take an early lead, 2-0. HPCA got a spark with singles from Ashlyn Kennedy and Hannah Self.
