As he(Myles Sowell) looked at colleges during the fall, he also mainly considered N.C. Central. But time passed during the early signing period. So, when coach Joel Sanchez and A&T, which is where his mom and dad went to school and his mom currently works, offered him on the day before the period ended, he chose to play with the Aggies of the MEAC.

“My mom works there. So, I’ve been around it all my life,” says Sowell, who wants to eventually go into computer science. “I know what the campus is like. So, it’s not like I’m new to it. There will be some things to adjust to. But it’s a good school, close to home. So, that’s what drove me there.”
