ELON, N.C. – It is almost Elon football season and that means the return of the Inside the Elon Huddle luncheons and the radio show – Elon Football Live presented by Select Bank and Trust! Both events return the final week of August with the first luncheon being held on Monday, August 25 and the first radio show live on Thursday, August 28.
Inside the Elon Huddle presented by Wells Fargo and hosted by the Phoenix Club is held on Monday at noon at the Best Western Plus on Huffman Mill Road in Burlington. For $10 per week, Phoenix fans can come and enjoy a lunch provided by Grille 584 and hear head coach Rich Skrosky talk about the previous week’s game and Elon’s upcoming opponent. Phoenix players will also be on hand to address the fans each week. Each luncheon will feature video clips from the prior game. This is the eighth season for the luncheons.
For the fifth year in a row, the Elon Football Live presented by Select Bank and Trust radio show will air live from the Fat Frogg Bar and Grill in Elon. The show is broadcast live on WPCM 95.1 FM and 920 AM on Thursday nights from 7-8 p.m. beginning on August 28. Phoenix faithful are encouraged to come out and catch the show live and ask questions of Coach Skrosky. Elon football color commentator Taylor Durham returns to host the program. Fans can also tweet their questions to @ElonRadio. The show will also be available on elonphoenix.com.
