North Carolina Tar Heels lose 2 starters and total of 4 players due to suspenions prior to home/season-opener vs. Liberty

News coming in tonight from WRALSportsfan.com at www.wralsportsfan.com…..

Off the field incident being labeled as hazing has resulted in suspensions for 4 UNC Tar Heel football players, as the Heels prepare for Liberty University in Chapel Hill, on Saturday…

Cornerbacks Des Lawrence, M.J. Stewart, and Brian Walker, as well as Donnie Miles were all suspended for one game for what head coach Larry Fedora called “a violation of team policy.”

“We have very high expectations of team policies and they didn’t meet those expectations,” Fedora said following practice Wednesday. “We are getting to a point (in the investigation) where I could make that decision (to suspend the players).”

Coach Fedora has laid the law down very quickly on this matter/case…..

Lawrence and Walker were each listed as starters at cornerback on this week’s depth chart released Monday. Stewart was listed as a second string corner and Miles as a third stringer at Ram.
