James Summers(Page HS) hanging in there in Mississippi, but Hinds falls to Holmes in season-opener

James Summers, NCHSAA 4-AA football champion at Page High School, is now on board for his second year at Hinds Community College in Mississippi and the quarterback is back at it, but his team came away with a loss, in the season opener this past Thursday night…

They play all Thursday night games for the most part down in Mississippi on the community and junior college levels and this did not go Summers’ way as he saw his team Fall to Holmes 28-21…..

Still good numbers for James and the numbers on the field have never been the problem, got to get those numbers up in the classroom and here goes for Game One on the football field….

Summers finished 18-28 for 157 yards through the air and had 20 carries for 93 yards and two touchdowns on the ground.
