Jamestown 42, Welborn 6[Jamestown ends up the only Undefeated team among the 20 Guilford County Middle School Teams…This might just make Jamestown, “The Team of they Year”…Good Job by Coach Curt and his Tigers.]
Mendenhall 32, Aycock 12Guilford Middle 36 Allen 32Hairston 12, Ferndale 0…First win in this head-to-head in three years for Hairston and Hairston will meet Welborne next week with all the marbles on the line for those two….

Kiser 52, Jackson 6….Quan Nora with back-to-back interceptions for touchdowns for Kiser…..Swing-passes right side by Jackson picked off by Nora and taken back 5 yards and 6 yards for TD’s…Halftime:Kiser Tigers 24, Jackson Trojans 6…Goins had a run of 31 yards for Kiser on the first possession of the second half and then Alonzo Green took the ball in from 19 yards out for Kiser….6:02 to go third quarter and the two-point conversion fails and the score sits at 30-6 Kiser….A few minutes later Lazane scored for Kiser and Edwards added the two-point conversion and with 2:23 to go in the third period the score was now 38=6 Kiser….End of 3rd Quarter:Kiser 38, Jackson 6…Quan Nora got the first of his two interceptions for Touchdowns and Kiser converted the two-point run to make the score Kiser 46, Jackson 6….(6:52 keft in the 4th Q)….The INT run was for six yards and then all of the sudden on the next series, Nora did it again, taking the ball in from the five-yard line this time and this time(3:23 4th Q), the 2-point conversion fails and there you go with the final of:Kiser 52, Jackson 6…..

  1. Jamestown defeated Welborn tonight 42-6. This win enabled the Tigers to finish undefeated at 7-0! Jamestown outscored their opponents 171-38 this season and finished as the only undefeated team out of the 20 Middle Schools in Guilford County! Congratulations Jamestown Tigers on a special season!
