College Volleyball Final – Roanoke 3, Guilford 0

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Brooke Bostwick had a match-high 16 kills on .517 hitting in Roanoke College’s Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) volleyball win at Guilford College Wednesday. Macey Tyree added nine kills on .350 hitting in the Maroons’ 25-13, 27-25, 25-18 victory.

Bostwick, a freshman middle hitter, put away seven kills and hit .500 in the second set. The Quakers rallied from a 17-11 deficit and tied the game at 24-24. Bostwick had her seventh kill for the Maroons’ 25th point and later served up the decisive point, one of her match-high three service aces. She had eight kills and hit .857 in the third set.

Jessica Block had a match-high 20 assists and five digs for Roanoke. Teammate Alexandra Martin added 12 assists and five digs.

Casey Davis led Guilford with 10 kills. Michaela Wall, Kelsey Ruehling and Brandy Rich each had five putaways for the Quakers (6-18, 2-9 ODAC). Maile Munro had 16 assists and 11 digs.

Guilford closes the season Nov. 1 at Salem College.
