FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – After the completion of the regular season today, the seeding for the 2014 USA South Volleyball Tournament has been determined. The tournament will consist of the top-five teams from the North Division and the top-three teams from the South Division and begin on Friday, November 7 in Martinsville, Virginia.
All tournament contests will be played at Martinsville’s Patrick Henry Community College. The matches will take place in Stone Hall on the Patrick Henry campus. This is the third consecutive year the USA South has held its volleyball tournament matches in the city of Martinsville. Both the semifinals and final will take place on Saturday, November 8.
The #5 seed Greensboro College fell in their previous contrest to #1 Maryville 3-0 earlier this season. The scores were 25-16, 25-12, and 25-20. Liz Widenhouse led the way with seven kills and 12 digs. Darrian Bolt passed for 11 assists.
