PJ Hairston(Dudley HS/UNC) finally drops DNP tag and gets in the game for Charlotte Hornets, but Pelicans make it three straight losses for Bugs/Buzz

NBA Pro Debut for P.J. Hairston comes in New Orleans…..
*****Miami Heat(3-1) at Charlotte Hornets(1-3) tonight/Wednesday at 7pm.*****

The early season Buzz has died down about the Charlotte Hornets, since after an opening-night win over the Bucks, the Bugs have gone on to lose three straight games, with the latest being a 100-91 defeat to the New Orleans Pelicans on the road and now Charlotte is (1-3) to begin 2014/2015….

But Greensboro’s P.J. Hairston(Dudley High School/UNC) finally got into the game for the Hornets, after sitting out the first three contests with the old DNP(Did Not Play) and P.J. made his pro debut in New Orleans with four points in 14 minutes of work, going 2-3 from the field and 0-1 at the foul line, but that’s 14 minutes of NBA playing time and four points for the stats book and in four games, even though you had to sit three of them, you are still averaging 1 point per game and I feel certain P.J. will take that and run with and find a way to build on those numbers…Average shows up even better when you factor in one game played and 4ppg……

The rest of the team is slumping, so why not give P.J. a shot/chance???

Marcus Kidd-Gilchrist was out last night due to injury and Lance Stephenson has lost his shooting touch and didn’t play in the fourth quarter, so it was time for the shooting guards(Hairston) to get their minutes in….

This year has been a bust for the Bugs early on and they need to get their Buzz back on….After the opening win over the Bucks last Wednesday night, when the Hornets had to come back from being down 24 points in the 3rd period, they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday 71-69, they fell to the N.Y. Knicks on Sunday and then lost to the Pelicans and Anthony Davis last night…

P.J. Hairston, a kid who can let it rip may get more chances now that he has finally hit the NBA court and if he is willing to play hard-nosed defense, his chances of playing will only be increasing….
