The Pride got their only points on their first drive of the game. Following a two yard rush by Warren Scott, Pride senior quarterback Ryan Throndset connected with Ray Bridges over the middle of the field. Once Bridges caught the Throndset pass, he broke several tackles in route to a 77 yard touchdown reception to put Greensboro College up 6-0 less than a minute into the game.

North Carolina Wesleyan then scored the game’s next 31 points for the 31-6 victory.

Prior to the start of the game, the Pride football team honored 14 senior class members.

“This senior group has been an absolute pleasure to work with over the past four seasons,” Pride Head Football Coach Bill Young said. “Our class of seniors this year has been able to accomplish some really big things in their career and they will all be missed.”

Ryan Throndset finished the day with 148 yards through the air on nine completions and one touchdown. Mac Graham also threw for 58 yards in the game. Warren Scott finished the game with a team high 54 yards rushing on 19 carries to go along with 14 yards receving.
