Jamestown, NC —

Riding a four game winning streak, the Ragsdale Tigers welcomed the Red Raiders of Andrews High School from just a few miles down the road. After getting out to a quick 8 point lead to start the game, Andrews responded from a timeout to quickly cut the Tigers’ lead in half. By the end of the 1st quarter, Ragsdale was up just five points. Ragsdale then used a big surge in the 2nd quarter to grab a 17 point halftime advantage. In the 2nd half, Andrews would continue to be resilient and cut into their deficit. However, the Red Raiders weren’t able to get any closer than 5 points in the 2nd half, as Ragsdale would get the home win and push its win streak to five games.

Ragsdale was led by Sophomore Kyle Watkins (21 points, 7 rebounds), Senior TJ Parker (16 points, 10 rebounds) and Junior Shawn Stringfellow (12 points, 6 rebounds). Tyliek Brister led Andrews with a game high 25 points on the night.
