Harry Giles and the Trojans snapped Mater Dei’s 46-game win streak with a late rally after trailing for most of the contest. Giles, a consensus five star junior forward, scored 29 points as Wesleyan Christian Academy improved to 12-0. A defending state champ in the North Carolina independent school ranks, Wesleyan will meet Wheeler in Monday’s second semifinal. Mater Dei had not lost since March of 2013.

  1. Keith Gatlin has done a great job over at Wesleyan. He has built this program into a powerhouse. After all negative feedback I saw several years back he is very deserving of this success. I tried to attend a game this year and couldn’t get in (WOW), a lot of support is for this team. All I hear is great feedback about the program from current and former players along with the fans. The student section is off the charts I’ve heard. Its a must see team I am hearing and CAN I GET A TICKET.
