Thomasville, NC – –
This afternoon the Ragsdale Tigers made the trip to Thomasville to take on the Bulldogs in an MLK Day matinee. The Tigers were looking to rebound after a hard-fought loss Friday night to their rivals from SW Guilford.

Utilizing a variety of swarming, pressure defenses, the Tigers would come out of the gates racing to an early 18-9 lead after the opening period. The Bulldogs would slowly chip away and cut their deficit to just 8 at the halftime break. The 2nd half was dead even. Thomasville got as close as 3 points to the Tigers, but Ragsdale would get timely offense and key defensive stops to pull out a good road win.

Ragsdale placed three players in double figure scoring; led by Sophomore Kyle Watkins (15 points) and Seniors TJ Parker (14 points & 8 rebounds) and Tevin Quick (10 points). Jahare Taylor-Thomas led the Bulldogs with a game-high 19 points on the afternoon.
