GC Pride Men’s Lacrosse Falls to #3 Salisbury 24-1

SALISBURY, MD – The Greensboro College Pride men’s lacrosse season opened their 2015 campaign on Saturday afternoon. The Pride men traveled to take on the Seagulls of Salisbury University, and fell by a 24-1 score.

Greensboro College got their lone goal of the game out of the stick of Blaine Wise to get the Pride on the board just 2:45 into the final period of play.

Cody Cunningham took the loss in goal for Greensboro despite making 23 saves.

Blaine Wise and Denis Raddcliffe led the way for the Pride with four shots on the day while Charles Stringfellow was credited with three shots.

With the opening loss, the Pride me fall to 0-1 on the season and will make their first home appearance next Saturday afternoon. The Pride will welcome Birmingham Southern to town for a 1:00 start. For the latest in Greensboro College Athletics, continue to follow www.greensborocollegesports.com.
