Kernersville, NC – –

This evening the Ragsdale Tigers made the trip to Kernersville to finish off the regular season against the Bobcats of Glenn High School. Both teams were coming off road losses, and would look to gain momentum going into next week’s conference tournament.

In tonight’s regular season finale, the visiting Tigers would take an early first quarter lead thanks to balance offensively and getting stops on the defensive end. However, Glenn then got it going offensively in the second quarter, and would cut their halftime deficit to just one point at 25-24. The Bobcats would take a brief lead in the third quarter before Ragsdale would begin to impose its will. Half court defensive stops would lead to transition opportunities, and the Tigers’ half court offense would begin clicking again. The Tigers would eventually come away with a much needed conference win on the road, by the final score of 67-51.

Ragsdale placed four players in double figure scoring on the night. Leading the way for the Tigers was Sophomore Greyson Collins (13 points) and a trio of Seniors in TJ Parker (12 points, 7 rebounds), Austin Love (12 points, 10 rebounds, 2 charges drawn) and Tevin Quick (10 points). Rashard Daniels led the Bobcats with a game high 15 points on the evening.
